When you submit a form, sign up for updates, express interest in volunteering or partnering, register for an event, or contact us, we may collect:
- Name, email address, phone number and mailing address

Donations
Online gifts (credit or debit card, ACH/bank transfer, stock and cryptocurrency) are made through Overflow, a third-party giving platform. When you give online, Overflow collects your payment and contact details under its own privacy policy and shares with us the information we need to receipt and thank you, such as your name, email, mailing address, gift amount and date. We do not receive or store your full card or bank account numbers.
If you give by mail, we keep a record of your name, address, gift amount and date for receipting and accounting purposes.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, our website host and the tools we use may automatically collect limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring website, and general location (city or region, based on IP address). We do not collect precise GPS location.
Cookies and similar technologies
The Site uses cookies that are needed for it to work and, where noted, cookies that help us understand how the Site is used.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the Site, such as which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, and how they arrived. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your device, browser, general location and activity on the Site. We use Google Tag Manager to manage these tools; Tag Manager itself does not collect personal information. We do not use this information to identify you personally or for advertising.
You can learn how Google uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the Site work.
2. How we use your information
We use information to:
- Process and receipt donations, and keep records required for tax and accounting purposes
- Respond to your questions and requests
- Connect volunteers, churches, schools and serve sites with opportunities in their community
- Send updates, event information and giving opportunities, if you have asked to receive them
- Understand how the Site is used so we can improve it
- Protect the security of the Site and prevent fraud
- Comply with legal obligations
3. How we share your information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share donor information with other organizations for their own marketing.
We share information only in these situations:
- Service providers that help us operate, such as our website host (Webflow), our giving platform (Overflow), our analytics provider (Google), and our email and communication tools. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Program partners. If you ask to volunteer, host, or get involved in your city, we may share your name and contact details with the local partner church, school or serve site coordinating that effort, so they can follow up with you.
- Legal requirements. When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and property of LHNL, our partners or the public.
- Organizational changes. If LHNL merges with or transfers its programs to another nonprofit organization, your information may be transferred as part of that change, subject to this policy.
- With your consent. For any other purpose we describe to you when you share the information.
4. Text messages
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we may text you about volunteer opportunities, events and updates. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for help. Mobile numbers and text messaging consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.
5. Children's privacy
Our work serves families and children, but the Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
6. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy. Donation records are kept as long as required for tax, audit and accounting purposes. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
7. How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. Online gifts are processed on Overflow's secure, encrypted platform. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights

- Access, correction and deletion: You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We may keep certain information when the law requires it, such as donation records.
- State privacy rights: Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law. We honor access, correction and deletion requests from all of our supporters, regardless of where they live.
- Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control: Because we do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, there is nothing for these signals to turn off. If that changes, we will update this policy and honor those signals as required.
To make a request, email go@lovehasnolimits.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity before completing it. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

The Site links to websites we do not control, including Overflow, Good Neighbor Day America, Candid (GuideStar), and our social media pages on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make significant changes, we will post a notice on the Site.
